BRETT PONTECORVO is a musical director, accompanist, arranger, programmer, and educator. He is the founder of both P287 Music Lessons, as well as LiveKeyboardist.com. Brett graduated from New York’s City College in 2014 with a B.F.A. in piano performance. Brett has worked as a music director, accompanist, arranger and keyboardist for theatres in and around NYC for the last 10 years. In addition to working as a professional musician, Brett has also had the opportunity to work as an educator bringing theatre and music to school-aged children in both public and private schools such as The Dalton School, The City College Academy of The Arts High School, and St. Aloysius School in Harlem. As someone who believes passionately in the immense value of art and community, Brett enjoys using music in public performances and private lessons, to lift people up, bring people together, and provide an outlet for the emotions that rest on everyone’s hearts.
